Q. What do the products contain?

A.Specially treated wheat grains that have been thoroughly cleaned and dried and a hint of French Lavender.

 

Q.Have any chemicals been used in the cleaning process?

A.No none at all – we use only high quality wheat grains and the cleaning process is to remove any dust or infestation. Our products contain 100% natural filling.

 

Q. What age are the products suitable for?

A. All of our products have been thoroughly safety tested and are suitable for all ages from birth upwards. We do recommend that the products are used only under careful adult supervision.

 

Q. What safety tests do the products comply with?

A.EN71(toy safety standard)- parts 1/2/3 & 9 and BS 8433:2004 British Safety standard.

 

Q. What if I overheat it?

A. We recommend a maximum heating time of two minutes based on a 900 watt microwave oven. However if overheated allow to return to room temperature.

All of our products do carry an instruction for relevant heating times.

 

Q. It feels damp once heated – is this normal?

A.Yes, this is quite normal. This is due to the natural moisture content of the wheat grains and will cease after the first few uses.

 

Q.The lavender fragrance has disappeared – what can I do?

A.To refresh the aroma simply heat as normal and place a few drops of good quality essential oil of lavender directly on to the surface of the product. This will not harm the fabric.

 

Q. How do I clean it?

A.Surface wash only with a lightly damp cloth – do NOT immerse in water as this will harm the natural wheat grains.

 

Q. How often can I heat it?

A. All of our products have been designed to be reheated thousands of times – always allow the product to cool fully between uses.

 

Q.I don’t have a microwave can I heat it in the oven?

A. We do not recommend heating in a conventional oven, as oven temperatures vary greatly. Also all of our safety tests have been conducted on microwave heating in a maximum of a 900 wattage oven.

 

Q. How else can I heat the product if I don’t have a microwave?

A. All of our products can be heated either on a radiator, storage heater or water heater. Although this will take longer it will be just as effective as if heated in a microwave.

 

Q. How do I use it as a cool pack?

A. Simply place the entire product within a grip seal freezer bag and place in the freezer for 2-3 hours. This will help to ease bruises and sprains and also reduce temperature.
